Repeating Patterns in Dance:
You will see the basic jigging step between each fancy dance. The following can be observed:
1. How many times does the basic step reoccur?
2. How may variations or fancy steps are introduced?
3. Is a variation step or fancy step ever repeated?
4. Which pattern reflects that pattern of the music?

These talented young people start dancing in a program that begins in grade 4 and continues until Grade 12. This group is a culmination of a lot of practice as a group over the years. The Half Pints show the bacis step and variation patern of the dance. The music has two contrasting styles that indicate to the dancers when the change occures.
